TN: General Products Partners to Establish Manufacturing Plant, Hire 100

Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam and Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bill Hagerty along with officials from General Products Partners Inc. announced the company will establish a manufacturing facility in Fayetteville. The $6.5 million investment by the aerospace and defense components manufacturer and will create 100 new jobs in Lincoln County.

“We continue to work to make Tennessee the No. 1 location in the Southeast for high quality jobs, and I want to congratulate General Products Partners Inc. and Lincoln County on this great announcement,” Haslam said. “The area will certainly benefit from these new positions, and I know this is the beginning of a strong partnership between General Products Partners Inc. and the state of Tennessee.”

Haslam’s leadership, our department has worked hard to bring advanced manufacturing companies such as General Products Partners Inc. to our state.”

General Products Partners Inc. is a premier supplier to a diversified range of aerospace, defense and aircraft industry leaders in the precision machining, fabrication and assembly of tooling and components, including space flight hardware. The facility will be located at Runway Centre Industrial Park and will be the first company to locate in the new business park.

The company specializes in metal finishing; assembling and testing; fabrication/welding and sheet metal; and precision machining for clients like Boeing, Lockheed Martin, NASA and all branches of the United States military. At both the new Lincoln County location and at its headquarters outside Huntsville, Ala., General Products Partners Inc. is conveniently located to serve one of the key hubs of the nation’s aerospace, defense and aircraft industries.
