Tennessee Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bill Hagerty along with Novità Technologies officials announced the company will expand its Hendersonville operations by investing $3.2 million in building and infrastructure improvements to an existing facility located at 175 Old Shackle Island Rd. The expansion will allow Novità Technologies to double its Hendersonville footprint and create 31 new jobs, increasing its workforce by 60 percent.
“Tennessee has ranked No. 1 in automotive manufacturing strength for an unprecedented four consecutive years, a feat that could not be accomplished without the support of the more than 900 thriving automotive manufacturers and suppliers operating in Tennessee,” Hagerty said. “I appreciate Novità Technologies’ decision to further grow and invest in Hendersonville, and for the new jobs that will be created in Sumner County.”
Formerly located at 166 Molly Walton Dr., Novità Technologies chose to remain in Hendersonville and purchased a building housing seven local businesses. Company officials assisted each of the displaced businesses relocate within the community. Renovations have been underway since early February, and the new facility will be fully operational by August.
