FL: Enhanced Resource Centers to Create 400 Jobs on the Space Coast

Nov 17, 2017

Melbourne has joined the line-up of locations for Enhanced Resource Centers (ERC), one of the fastest-growing contact centers in the United States. The new location on John Rodes Boulevard is anticipating bringing 400 news jobs to the Space Coast, with full employment expected by March of 2018.

“We are pleased ERC chose Melbourne,” said Lynda Weatherman, president and CEO of the Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast (EDC). “Their investment in our community is extraordinary, as the 400 new positions offer job seekers a unique opportunity with growth potential within the BPO industry.”

One look at ERC’s website and it’s clear – the full-service business process outsourcing (BPO) company elevates what it means to be a contact center. ERC is a company where agents are the most valued employees, there is no limit to where a career can go at ERC.

“You have every opportunity to elevate your career,” says Kim Howell, Chief People Officer of ERC. “From leadership and support positions, to a top executive, ERC’s opportunities are open for all our employees to excel.”

Just ask the leadership team, and it’s easy to see that this is true. The vast majority of ERC’s top-executives, including the CEO, were employees who started their careers as agents. The leadership team at ERC knows what it means to be an agent, and always keeps their experiences in mind when it comes to running the successful international company.

“It’s very common to see our executive team on the floor, talking with our agents,” explains Howell. “We have a true open-door policy at ERC, and ensure our agents’ voices are heard and valued.”

Interested applicants can learn more at ERC’s Community Engagement and Hiring Event, Saturday, November 18th between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at its location on 511 N. John Rodes Blvd, Melbourne Florida. New hires will receive a $300 sign-on bonus for a limited time, and can earn additional bonuses for referring applicants after being hired.
