SC: RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing Corp. to Invest $34M, Hire 1,100 for New HQ

RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing Corporation, a mortgage-servicing company that delivers innovative solutions for managing residential mortgages, announced that its new corporate headquarters will be located in York County, South Carolina. The company's $34 million investment is projected to create 1,100 new jobs.

Founded in 2007, RoundPoint is a fully licensed agency and non-agency subservicer for commercial banks, credit unions, mortgage companies and hedge funds. The company currently services more than $75 billion worth of mortgage assets, which are comprised of its own assets and loans subserviced for many other types of investors worldwide. Licensed in all 50 states, RoundPoint is publicly rated by Fitch Ratings, Standard & Poor's and Kroll Bond Rating Agency.

Located at 2280 Deerfield Drive in Fort Mill, South Carolina, RoundPoint's new headquarters is expected to be operational by the third quarter of 2019. Hiring for the new positions should also begin in the third quarter of 2019, and interested applicants should visit RoundPoint's career page.

For this project, the Coordinating Council for Economic Development approved job development credits, as well as a $500,000 Set Aside grant to York County to assist with the costs of site preparation and building construction.
