Broadline foodservice distributor, Reinhart Foodservice, L.L.C. announced plans for an expansion at its 70,000 square-foot facility on Mitch McConnell Way in Bowling Green's South Central Kentucky Industrial Park. This project more than doubles Reinhart's existing footprint and includes $14.2 million in capital investment and the addition of 50 new jobs.
Reinhart is one of the five largest foodservice distributors in the United States with 27 distribution centers across the eastern half of the U.S. It provides fresh produce, proteins, ingredients, supplies and equipment to a variety of customers, including independent restaurants, delis, sporting venues, schools, hospitals, nursing homes and restaurant chains. Reinhart employs 250 people in its two Kentucky facilities, including 99 employees at their full-service Bowling Green facility.
