SC: Kuehne + Nagel Launching Ops in Charleston County, Creating 180 Jobs

Kuehne + Nagel, Inc., a global transport and logistics company, is launching operations in Charleston County. With this new facility, the company will be creating 180 jobs over the next three years.

Established in 1890, Kuehne + Nagel has grown into one of the world's leading logistics providers. With more than 1,300 offices and 70,000 employees, the firm provides logistics solutions to a variety of key industry sectors, including automotive, aerospace, oil and gas, retail and more.

Located on the Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC (MBV) site off of Palmetto Commerce Parkway, Kuehne + Nagel's new facility will be providing production logistics services to support MBV's expanding manufacturing operations. Comprehensive services will include goods receiving, inventory management, just-in-time picking and sequencing for delivery.
