TN: Ryder Supply Chain to Invest $16.5M to Expand, Create 606 Jobs

Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam and Economic and Community Development Commissioner Randy Boyd along with Ryder Supply Chain Solutions officials announced the company will expand its warehousing, transportation, kitting and assembly operations in Spring Hill. The announcement represents an investment of $16.5 million and the creation of 606 new jobs in Maury County.

“Tennessee’s central geographic location and incredible logistics infrastructure offer companies around the world a great setting for growth and success,” Haslam said. “Our goal to make Tennessee the No. 1 location in the Southeast for high quality jobs is made possible with the support of companies like Ryder, and we want to thank them for choosing to expand in Spring Hill and adding more than 600 new jobs to the Maury County workforce.”

Ryder will double its Spring Hill warehousing operations from 300,000 square feet to 600,000 square feet as well as increase its workforce from approximately 200 to more than 800 over the next five years.
