“We look forward to relocating our U.S. base to the Metro Orlando area,” said Ori Hadomi, CEO of Mazor Robotics, Inc. “We anticipate a great deal of growth over the next several years, and the medical centers in Florida have been innovators with their rapid adoption of the Renaissance technology. We strongly believe that with the Orlando area’s commitment to providing a superior environment for medical research and development, our company will be well-positioned to maximize that growth opportunity.”

The State of Florida, City of Orlando, Enterprise Florida, Florida Hospital and the Metro Orlando EDC collaborated in this project.

“The growth of Health Village is another sign that Florida’s economy is headed in the right direction,” said Lt. Governor Jennifer Carroll. “Governor Scott and I are working every day to grow jobs and create opportunities for Florida families. I am honored to help announce how this project will make a positive impact in the lives of those who call Central Florida home.”

“Mazor’s move to Orlando is a shining example of what can result from pursuing targeted and strategic international economic development opportunities,” said Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer. “This is also a testament of how Orlando is increasingly being considered as the location for national and global headquarter operations.”

“We are grateful Mazor Robotics chose Orlando for their U.S. headquarters, reflecting our belief in the region’s long term Life Science sector viability,” said Rick Weddle, President and CEO of the Metro Orlando EDC.
