SC: Spain-based Hidral USA Inc. Chooses Fairfield County for New Facility

Hidral USA Inc., a manufacturer of freight elevators, platforms, lifts and vertical reciprocating conveyors, has selected Fairfield County for its new sales office, the company's first facility in North America. The $1.5 million investment is expected to create 25 new jobs with plans to expand the initial sales office to include manufacturing over the next five years.

Hidral USA Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hidral, S.A., headquartered in Seville, Spain. Hidral, S.A. employs more than 300 individuals worldwide and offers products to the professional industry in more than 50 countries.

The 18,000-square-foot facility, the company's second facility in the Western Hemisphere, will be located at 500 Tillessen Blvd. in Ridgeway, S.C. Hidral, S.A.'s first facility in the Western Hemisphere is a manufacturing plant located in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
