MO: Detroit Tool Metal Products Announces $4.2M Expansion in Lebanon

Nov 13, 2015

The Missouri Department of Economic Development announced Detroit Tool Metal Products in Lebanon, Missouri, is bringing two new lines of coatings production and 30 new jobs to the area. The expansion is associated with a $4.2 million investment, adding 42,000 square feet of space to the Lebanon facility.

“We’re always excited to see companies recognizing the competitive advantages of growing their businesses in Missouri,” said Mike Downing, director of the Missouri Department of Economic Development.

Parent company Ironform says the expansion is to accommodate increasing customer demand for new powder coat and E-coat lines. Ultimately the new lines will give Detroit Tool Metal Products cost advantages and allow the company to meet rising customer demand.

Detroit Tool Metal Products is a Tier 1 supplier to the agriculture, industrial and transportation industries, and recently won the business of John Deere Harvester Works in Moline, Missouri.

To assist with the company’s expansion, the Missouri Department of Economic Development offered a strategic incentive package that Detroit Tool Metal can access if it meets strict job creation criteria.
