Outdoor retailer Bass Pro Shops has plans to open three new stores—in Spring, TX; Niles, OH; and Clifton Park, NY. The company currently operates about 200 stores.
In Texas, the 125,000-square-foot store is slated to open in the fall of 2024 and is the 16th location in the state. The Niles, Ohio, store, at 63,000 square feet, is the seventh location in Ohio and is expected to open in the second half of 2023. The 70,000-square-foot store in Clifton Park, N.Y., will serve Albany and the Adirondacks region in New York and is the fourth location in the state, reports SGB Media.
“Our newest Bass Pro Shops in Spring strengthens our relationship with sportsmen and women across the great state of Texas. For more than 50 years, we have been committed to conservation and to helping families spend time together outdoors,” said Johnny Morris, founder of Bass Pro Shops. “This location not only showcases that commitment but outfits hunters, anglers and families for all of the great fishing, hunting and outdoor activities that east Texas has to offer.”
“The Adirondacks have played a huge role in our nation’s sporting heritage and our country’s world-leading history of conservation. We are honored to open our newest Bass Pro Shops in Clifton Park,” said Morris. “This location will not only pay tribute to the region’s past but will proudly outfit the sportsmen, women and families who continue to enjoy the Adirondacks today.”
