Mar 07, 2016

Governor Scott announced that ProcessMAP Corporation, a web-based software and service provider, will be expanding in Sunrise and creating 120 new jobs. The expansion will also invest nearly $4 million in Broward County. ProcessMAP currently employs 70 Floridians.

Governor Scott said, “I am excited to announce today that ProcessMAP will be expanding to create 120 new jobs in Sunrise. Successful technology companies like ProcessMAP help diversify our economy and create new opportunities for our families, and we will keep working to support this type of growth across the state so Florida can become first for jobs.”

Headquartered in Sunrise, ProcessMAP Corporation is a leading provider of cloud-based software solutions that help keep employees and the environment safe. Their software supports global conglomerates, like Ryder and Harley Davidson, to mid-sized companies in 95 countries and is offered in 25 languages. The company continues to experience growth and success in Southeast Florida, a growing hotbed of technology companies. Greater Fort Lauderdale sits at the center of what has been dubbed the TechGateway, a nod to South Florida’s position as the U.S. conduit to Latin America and other international markets.

“We are excited to expand our footprint in Florida and bring new jobs to this community, said Dave Rath, CEO at ProcessMAP. “As the global demand for ProcessMAP’s Health, Safety, and Risk Management software surges, we are growing our Florida operations with at least 120 new jobs over the next three years, which in turn supports the continued economic growth of the state. We are honored to have Governor Scott’s support as we expand, and look forward to many more years of success here in Florida.”

The expansion was made possible through partnerships between Enterprise Florida, Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, and the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance.

Bill Johnson, president and CEO of Enterprise Florida, said, “ProcessMAP’s creation of 40 new jobs for Florida families is great news. I look forward to their continued success as we create more opportunities in the Sunshine State.”

Cissy Proctor, Executive Director of the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, said, “ProcessMAP Corporation’s expansion in South Florida means more opportunities for Floridians to get a good job in a high-wage, high-skill STEM field. The strategic investments our state has made allows businesses like ProcessMAP to grow and thrive.”

Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance President & CEO, Bob Swindell said, “The Alliance is delighted ProcessMAP is expanding in Sunrise. The addition of these high-wage jobs to our local economy is a testament to Broward County’s thriving technology sector. We wish ProcessMAP continued success.”

Mayor Mike Ryan said, “ProcessMAP’s decision to expand its operations in Sunrise strengthens our reputation as a top location for technology talent. The company’s presence in our City is a testament to our progressive take on economic development. We congratulate ProcessMAP on their growth and look forward to seeing them prosper in Sunrise.”
