The Kansas Department of Commerce announced that Telamon Corp. will open an office in Kansas City, Kan. Telamon, which specializes in solutions for telecommunications, business transactions, energy, assembly and logistics for medical material, will create 28 jobs in the state over the next five years.
“Telamon is looking forward to expanding our operations into Kansas City,” said Telamon CEO Albert Chen. “Our additional Kansas location will help us gain access to new customers where we can continue to provide simple, innovative solutions.”
Telamon, an Indiana-based company, is a minority-owned business. The company will open its facility at 3138 South 24th Street, where it will create 28 information technology jobs. It is also projected to make a capital investment exceeding $500,000.
“We’re trying to create a great business environment in Kansas, so it’s terrific to see Telamon opening operations here,” said Kansas Commerce Secretary Pat George. “The company is investing in the state and contributing to our economic growth with good new jobs.”
