NJ: ERI Launches State-of-the-Art Electronic Waste Consolidation Facility

Jan 12, 2017

ERI, the nation’s leading recycler of electronic waste and the world's largest IT asset disposition (ITAD) and cybersecurity-focused hardware destruction company, has launched a new consolidation facility in New Jersey.

The 53,500-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility is located on 510 Ryerson Road in Lincoln Park and was leased to ERI by the Stro Companies (Stro). ERI will occupy the space immediately, utilizing it as a high-tech consolidation operation, with plans for the location to become a full-service e-waste processing facility.

The New Jersey facility joins ERI’s strategically located facilities in California, Colorado, Indiana, North Carolina, Massachusetts, Texas and Washington State locations, serving every zip code in the United States.

"We’re excited to launch our New Jersey operation at such an ideal location,” said John S. Shegerian, Chairman and CEO of ERI. “As with all of our locations, the Lincoln Park facility meets the strictest standards of environmental and operational excellence and will enable us to enhance and further streamline our nationwide services.”

“We are proud to have added ERI to our growing list of tenants,” said Steven Millstein, President of Stro. “ERI is a on the forefront of electronics recycling and secure data destruction, bringing responsible, effective and sustainable practices to everyday life. Stro shares ERI’s mission of creating a more sustainable future through various projects, including solar energy as well as the redevelopment/repositioning of challenged properties into productive components of New Jersey’s economy, so it’s a great fit.”
