AZ: Binswanger Unveils 640-Acre Border Mega Site for Industrial Development in Yuma

Von Verde Development in tandem with Binswanger Commercial Brokers recently brought a 640-acre “mega site” onto the market for industrial development. The site is the largest contiguous industrial parcel on the border of Arizona and has the capacity to host millions of square feet of manufacturing, warehousing, and cold storage space. 

The site will be a key asset to  future marketing efforts that target Mexico and companies seeking to benefit from the logistical position of the site, Von Verde officials say.

Highlights of the mega site include: 

  • Power Description & Provider: APS, 18MW available today, 40MW in +/- 2 years, so +/- 60 MW in total, 200MW is possible. Potential to be dual fed.
  • Water Description & Provider: City of San Luis, 12-inch line, Along Avenue D between Co 24 & Co 25th, County 25 between E & D, County 24th between E & D.
  • Sewer Description & Provider: City of San Luis, 15-inch line (South half section) and 18-inch line (North half section).
  • Fuel Description & Provider: Southwest Gas, 3-inch – the high-pressure line running east/west at County 24th between C and D, 1 ¼” line – running north/south at C ½ between County 24th and County 25th. Upgradable depending upon load needed.
