CA: NY: Luxury Brand Kurt Geiger Plans Major Store Expansion in North America Over Next Five Years

Jan 21, 2025

U.K.-based luxury footwear and accessories brand Kurt Geiger is planning a major expansion in North America, with 50 stores opening over the next five years, the company says. In late 2024 the fashion brand opened two stores in California, one in New York and two in Mexico. Five more stores are in development across North America for early 2025, including locations in Miami, Houston and New York.

The recent expansion follows four pre-existing boutiques in Mexico and the opening in early 2024 of Kurt Geiger’s outpost at Mall at Millenia in Orlando, Fla., the company said. Kurt Geiger currently operates over 60 stores and 15 boutiques worldwide.

“We’re going big in North America,” said Neil Clifford, CEO of Kurt Geiger. “Seeing our growth in the region, we believe our creative and social spirit and our statement-making styles aren’t just for Londonphiles. We love the idea of Kurt Geiger being a worldwide conduit of London’s pop culture scene.”

According to Kurt Geiger, North America is now the brand’s fastest growing and largest market. From 2018 until now, gross sales have grown “100-fold," the company said. In addition to its own stores, the brand is distributed at select U.S. retailers, including Bloomingdales, Nordstrom and Dillard’s.

The most recent store openings in North America are:

Roosevelt Field Mall, Garden City, N.Y.;
Del Amo Fashion Center, Torrance, Calif.;
Fashion Valley, San Diego, Calif.;
Antara, Mexico City, Mexico; and
Antea, Queretaro, Mexico.
