Rejuvenate Bio announced the launch of its new office in San Diego, which will help foster and accelerate the discovery and development of gene therapies for human and animal health. The office will support all functions including business development and clinical operations functions.

"The launch of our new office in this leading biotech hub, allows us to aggressively pursue our business development efforts and leverage the talent and expertise San Diego offers," said Daniel Oliver, CEO & Co-Founder, Rejuvenate Bio. "This will help with our recruiting efforts, as we launch our first clinical gene therapy trial in humans next year. We look forward to continued development of our pipeline and our team in one of the fastest-growing biotech hubs."

The office is in a standalone building of 15,500 square feet, approximately 6,000 square feet of which is new lab space. The renovation incorporates new storefront glass to replace roll up doors in the lab, providing additional natural light to complement 100% outside air in the lab space. There are two lab support rooms (bioreactor and tissue culture with HEPA filtration), new vacuum and air compressor system, and a new emergency power generator. There is also a 500 square feet patio with trellis.

“As a pioneer in epigenetics and gene therapies that target the core drivers of chronic age-related diseases, our team is developing a pipeline to reverse pre-existing heart disease, metabolic disease, and kidney failure in humans. This new office will enable us to expand our team and shape the next-generation of drug discovery and development in gene therapies driven by epigenetic reprogramming,” said Noah Davidsohn, Ph.D., CMO & Co-Founder, Rejuvenate Bio.

"Congratulations to Rejuvenate Bio on the launch of their new office, which will significantly expand its drug research and development in San Diego, create high-quality jobs, and encourage partnerships on groundbreaking gene therapies to improve patient outcomes,” said Miguel Motta, Vice President of Strategic Operations and San Diego Head of Biocom California. "San Diego's life sciences industry is one of the leading biotech hubs in the nation and Rejuvenate exemplifies the spirit of innovation for which the region is known."
