FL: BK Technologies to Expand HQ on Space Coast, Add 35 Jobs

The Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast (EDC) announced that BK Technologies, Inc. will expand operations at its headquarters in West Melbourne, Florida. The company, who has maintained operations on Florida’s Space Coast for over 45 years, plans to create 35 new positions in the next two years, with an average annual wage of $73,500.
 
BK Technologies also operates in Lawrence, Kansas. The EDC worked diligently with BK Technologies to ensure a local expansion, which will lead to new jobs and a capital investment of $3 million.
 
“BK Technologies has been a mainstay on Florida’s Space Coast for nearly half a century,” said Lynda Weatherman, President and CEO of the EDC. “Just as our manufacturing sector and economy, the company’s development over the years has been extraordinary. We are proud they will continue to invest here in Brevard County.”
