Perigold, the luxury retailer serving as the destination for the world’s best home brands, is excited to announce plans for retail stores with its first-ever confirmed storefront in CityPlace, West Palm Beach’s most visited destination with curated open-air shopping, dining, art and events in the heart of downtown. This new venture marks a significant milestone in the brand’s ambitious expansion plan to build a brick and mortar presence in key markets, and create a real-world experience for their customers to be able to discover and interact with their products in a meaningful way.
“Perigold is the destination for luxury home. Prior to our launch in 2017, consumers in particular had limited access to the best in home design. No retailer was offering the breadth of categories, styles, and designer-loved brands that we have, all in one place,” says Rebecca Ginns, Global Head of Perigold. “With this expansion, we are excited to increase access to our offering with physical store locations, where consumers and designers alike can see and experience the superior craftsmanship and materials of these amazing products in person.”
Perigold is set to launch a series of retail stores in 2025, confirming the CityPlace location West Palm Beach in Fall 2025, to expand the luxury home shopping experience by providing access to products and brands in a physical space. These stores will give unparalleled access to the roster of brands and designer- curated collections that are currently offered on the website. They combine the ease of online shopping with the hands-on experience of in-store exploration, serving both individual and B2B consumers. This expansion will also allow them to host events and partner with local businesses to build communities in a new and more personal way.
A cohesive site-to-store experience for their community is important to Perigold. Much like their strong online presence, the brand’s retail locations will bring their community-loved Brand and Designer Shops to life. The stores will feature distinct environments throughout the space, curated by locally and nationally-recognized design partners, such as Marie Flanigan, Jessica Davis, Helen Bergin, Julie Neill, and more to offer design and style inspiration through each designer’s distinctive point of view. Perigold’s store offering will include products from more than 150 esteemed design brands like Century, Vanguard, OLY, House of Rohl, Theodore Alexander, Visual Comfort, Stark Rugs, and Scalamandre.
The West Palm Beach location boasts nearly 30,000 square feet over two floors, including an outdoor balcony which overlooks the main street of CityPlace. High ceilings and an abundance of natural light lend a sense of grandeur and ample space will allow Perigold to showcase the breadth of their assortment as well as offer collaboration space for designers and clients.
Interior design expert and partner of Perigold, Helen Bergin, shares, “Having a tangible retail space to see all of my favorite trade products is crucial to understanding how a piece will work for a client. With a retailer like Perigold, a place that offers all of a designer’s favorite sources of inspiration under one roof is a game changer, especially in a place like West Palm Beach. The area has incredible vintage vendors but less retail options – Perigold is going to change that, not only for this area but for the industry as well.”
“We’re proud to welcome Perigold’s first brick and mortar storefront to CityPlace in the heart of Downtown West Palm Beach, building on the destination’s curated mix of exceptional experiential retail,” said Executive Vice President Gopal Rajegowda at Related Ross, the visionary developer and operator of CityPlace and Downtown’s West Palm’s larger urban core. “For nearly 25 years, CityPlace has been a trailblazing destination for the region with many firsts, furthering the growth of downtown, and we look forward to welcoming the esteemed brand’s first location.”
The brand continues to focus on growing and spreading awareness for its unique business model and the plethora of designers and vendors, with brick-and-mortar being the natural next step in this journey.
