Indiana’s first L.L. Bean store opened recently in Indianapolis, at the Rivers Edge shopping plaza. The store will create 60 full- and part-time jobs.
The 16,000-square-foot store on Indy’s northeast side will offer a wide selection of men’s, women’s and kid’s active and casual apparel in various sizes; outerwear, footwear, gear and more.
The Maine-based retailer, founded in 1912, is known for its outdoor gear, recreational equipment and exceptional customer service. Some of its products have been popular for decades, including the Maine Hunting Shoe (1912), Field Coat (1924), Chamois Shirt (1928) and Boat and Tote (1944).
The Indianapolis L.L. Bean store isthe retailer’s fourth new location to open in 2024.
