UPS’s Louisville facilities, including the famed Worldport, has helped drive the region’s national reputation for logistics and distribution. Now, UPS has invested in a $310 million Centennial Ground hub expansion in Louisville – bringing 300 jobs to the area.
The project, located at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport, tripled the size of the UPS facility to over 1 million square feet and doubled sorting capacity to 85,000 packages per hour.
“We are grateful for our strong, enduring partnership with UPS and for the company’s powerful impact upon the workforce, economy and community of the Louisville region,” said Gov. Matt Bevin.
