
JLG Industries, known for manufacturing mobile elevating work platforms, is opening a 113,000 square-foot R&D facility in Frederick to develop new products and solutions in a large innovation and equipment testing area. An Oshkosh Corporation Business, JLG’s new facility will also include a satellite office space to accommodate business growth and support team members and worldwide clientele.
“Our customers rely on us for purpose-built access equipment, and our new facility in Frederick reflects our commitment to purpose-built spaces that foster growth for our team members and innovation for our customers,” said Oshkosh Executive Vice President and Access Segment President Mahesh Narang.
With its scissor lifts, boom lifts, and other mobile elevating work platforms and telehandlers, the company is focused on providing world-class excellence in quality, service and delivery to its distributors and customers, while delivering opportunities and enrichment for employees and superior performance for shareholders.
JLG products and personnel can be found all over the world, including in several facilities in neighboring Washington County, Md., where it employs hundreds of full-time workers.
