Tier 1 auto supplier AGS Automotive Systems plans to expand its operations in Sterling Heights, Michigan. The $20 million project is expected to create 120 jobs. The investment will include a 235,000-square-foot expansion which will grow existing assembly capacity and house new manufacturing capabilities.

The project is supported by a $900,000 Michigan Business Development Program performance-based grant. In addition, the city of Sterling Heights has offered a 50-percent property tax abatement in support of the project.
