Officials from Advanced Distributor Products (ADP), a business unit of Lennox International, Inc. and manufacturer of residential evaporator coils, have announced the company is expanding its operations in Grenada, Miss., to accommodate a new fabrication process. The process will be housed in a new 26,000-square-foot facility that is being constructed next to the company’s existing facility in Grenada’s Air Industrial Park. The project represents a company investment of approximately $1.5 million from Lennox International and will create 26 new jobs.
“ADP’s decision to expand in Grenada further reinforces that Mississippi has a supportive business climate in place to help businesses grow,” said Gray Swoope, executive director of the Mississippi Development Authority (MDA). “I am pleased we were able to provide assistance for this project, and I thank ADP officials for their continued investment in Grenada, Grenada County and the state of Mississippi.”
MDA worked closely with company and local officials to help facilitate the project, providing funding to the county for public infrastructure improvements. Grenada County also provided funding to assist with the project.
“The new building and improvements to our current building will enhance our response to our customers and to the rapidly-changing marketplace,” said Greg Goetzinger, ADP operations director. “Our entire organization appreciates the support of the Mississippi Development Authority, the Grenada County Economic Development District and the Grenada County Board of Supervisors for expediting and coordinating this endeavor.”
