The New Mexico Film Office announced the TV series Roswell, New Mexico will return to New Mexico to film its third season. Filming will take place October 2020 through April 2021. The show is produced by Warner Bros. Television and NM Talent Inc., and will film in Santa Fe, Las Vegas, Albuquerque, and Madrid, New Mexico.
"Roswell, New Mexico Season 3 is injecting thousands of dollars into the New Mexico economy, as well as employing hundreds of New Mexican crew members. It’s great to have Warner Bros. and the entire team back for a third season of the show," said Alicia J. Keyes, Cabinet Secretary, New Mexico Economic Development Department
The production will employ approximately 275 New Mexico crew members and 2,200 New Mexico background and extras.

The show's stars include Jeanine Mason (Grey’s Anatomy), Nathan Dean (The Originals, True Blood), Michael Vlamis (New Girl), Lily Cowles (Antebellum), Tyler Blackburn (Pretty Little Liars), Heather Hemmens (Yellowstone), Michael Trevino (The Vampire Diaries), and Amber Midthunder (Legion, Hell or High Water).
Roswell, New Mexico is from Amblin Entertainment, My So-Called Company, and Bender Brown Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios, with executive producers Christopher Hollier (Once Upon a Time), Julie Plec (The Vampire Diaries), Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey (The Americans), Lawrence Bender (Pulp Fiction) and Kevin Kelly Brown (Roswell).
Roswell, New Mexico is based on the Roswell High book series, written by Melinda Metz.

All film and television productions in New Mexico are required to adhere to the state’s operative emergency public health order, associated public health restrictions and COVID Safe Practices.
