“As Orveon scales its operations in the U.S., we look forward to helping to grow the booming ecosystem of global companies in Columbus,” said Orveon CEO Pascal Houdayer. “We are seeking skilled talent and expertise with a passion for a new type of beauty with strong sustainability purpose, and we are confident we can find that team in Columbus as we build our new office.”
Orveon was formed after Boston-based private equity firm Advent International acquired the brands from Japanese cosmetics conglomerate Shiseido in December 2021. The company also has regional headquarters in London and Tokyo, and selected 343 North Front Street in Columbus for its new office after a nationwide search. Focused primarily on the prestige cosmetics and skincare categories, Orveon has exciting growth plans for its portfolio of brands and business.
“The beauty of investing in Columbus means Orveon joins a deep retail sector with decades of expertise, as well as an underlying hunger to innovate and welcome a new class of companies to the City,” said City of Columbus Mayor Andrew J. Ginther. “This investment demonstrates our ability to sustain our diversified economy, and Orveon's new location puts them near top-notch tech companies, finance startups and breweries, as well as Downtown’s art and culture institutions.”

The City of Columbus is located in Franklin County, which is home to an estimated 1,316,756 residents.
“With locations in some of the world’s most impactful markets, including London and Tokyo, Orveon Global’s decision to open a new site in Columbus is evidence of Ohio’s competitiveness as a viable, international location in a covid-callibrated economy,” said JobsOhio President and CEO J.P. Nauseef. “This investment helps strengthen Orveon’s brands worldwide with talent from Ohio while bringing 150 new jobs to the Columbus Region.”
