OH: EASE Logistics Expands its HQ in the Columbus Region, Creating 20 Jobs

Mar 25, 2021
EASE Logistics, an award-winning multi-operational supply chain and transportation solution, has announced plans to expand its headquarters in Dublin, Ohio, creating 20 new jobs and investing $2 million. Hiring for accounting, finance, human resources and administrative positions will begin in Q4 2021.

With this expansion, EASE will add to its current location at 5725 Avery Road and expand its footprint to include 6101 and 6141 Avery Road in Dublin, spanning a total of 3 acres and including a new office and warehouse facility. This will allow the company to accommodate recent and expected future growth as it expands its customer base and reach.

“We’ve experienced massive growth in our first seven years as a company, and we look forward to continuing to scale from our home in Dublin,” said EASE Logistics President and CEO Peter Coratola. “EASE had an incredibly successful year in 2020 and we plan to capitalize on that momentum in 2021 and beyond. We’re looking forward to leveraging our skilled workforce and strategic location in Central Ohio to expand our footprint.”

Founded in 2014 as a third-party logistics company, EASE provides a wide array of services to companies across several industries including but not limited to automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, food and beverage companies and government and military. EASE currently has 70 full time employees and growing. The company has experienced rapid growth since its inception and was ranked No. 144 on Inc.com’s 2021 list of the Midwest’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies.

“EASE Logistics is already an internationally respected logistics provider and is quickly emerging as a leader in the smart technology field,” said City of Dublin Economic Development Director Colleen Gilger. “EASE has been an important community partner since its founding here in 2014, working with the Dublin Food Pantry, Welcome Warehouse and Dublin Irish Festival, to name a few. With their commitment to innovation, they are a perfect fit for Dublin and for this specific location, where they can grow and expand near our West Innovation District and in the Columbus Region Beta District.”

The Columbus Region is a global logistics hub that supports some the world’s largest brands and top logistics service providers, making it a critical link in industrial and consumer supply chains. The Region’s location gives companies access to more of the U.S. population and employment base than any other major metro, providing unmatched accessibility. Within a day’s drive, you can reach 151 million people and 42,100 headquarters – that’s 46% of the country’s population base and 48% of headquarter operations.

“EASE Logistics’ headquarters expansion in Dublin demonstrates the Columbus Region as a highly desirable location, particularly for supply chain operations,” said JobsOhio President and CEO J.P. Nauseef. “Central Ohio is a strategic location for companies in this sector, so EASE will benefit greatly from the existing logistics network and robust talent pool.”
