OH: Pluto Healthcare Expands HQ in Columbus Region, Creating 65 Jobs

Feb 01, 2022
Pluto Healthcare, a healthcare staffing firm that places highly-skilled professionals into leading healthcare systems, has announced plans to expand in Grandview Heights, Ohio, creating 65 new jobs. Hiring for a variety of positions including business development, finance, accounting, office management, human resources, marketing, social media, IT and legal positions will begin in February 2022.

Pluto headquarters will remain in the Grandview Yard mixed-use district but will move from 865 Yard Street to 775 Yard Street  to accommodate its growth. By expanding into a more than 10,000-square-foot space, the company will be able to scale operations and support the growth of its local workforce, which will increase from 11 to 76 employees. Pluto has fared well during COVID-19 and has been able to keep expanding operations throughout the pandemic.

“Pluto has experienced rapid success throughout our first few years as a company, requiring us to quickly scale operations to accelerate our momentum,” said Pluto CEO Sean Barber. “As a technology-enabled organization making an impact in the healthcare space, we are excited to bring new personnel on board to support the continued growth of our business and our customer base.”

Pluto’s growth strategy hinges on hiring and training top medical talent, utilizing more technology and entering new markets. Founded in 2019, this early-stage high growth business has ambitions to accelerate contract growth nationwide. This project will provide the space and personnel to support its more than 350 medical professionals, current demand and expand Pluto’s geographic coverage.

“The arc of Pluto’s growth and expansion is a great success story that exemplifies how a local company can build upon strong roots in our thriving community,” said City of Grandview Heights Mayor Greta Kearns. “We are proud to have been able to support Pluto’s operational growth as they continue to expand their healthcare staffing services capacity, and we look forward to collaborating with the company as it continues to scale.”
