Global apparel retailer UNIQLO announces the opening of four new stores in Canada this fall. With growing customer affinity for LifeWear, the brand is well-positioned to enter Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton and Langley before the end of the year, making UNIQLO accessible to even more Canadians and creating jobs in those four markets.
Since opening its first Canadian location in 2016 in Toronto at Eaton Centre, the brand has offered a unique guest experience with its innovative lineup of LifeWear for men, women, and kids. LifeWear clothing is designed to make everyone's life better. It is simple, high-quality, everyday clothing, thoughtfully crafted with life's needs in mind and is constantly evolving to modern life. This latest Canadian expansion builds upon the momentum the brand initiated in 2022 to reach 200 stores in North America by 2027.
"We have seen incredible momentum throughout Canada, and we couldn't be more excited to open four new stores," says Daisuke Tsukagoshi, CEO of UNIQLO North America. "UNIQLO continues to resonate with Canadian customers, and we aim to deliver essential clothing that complements their lifestyles, made to be building blocks of their wardrobe with longevity in mind."
With the success of its core LifeWear products and designer collaborations, UNIQLO has gained global popularity and continues building deeper connections with Canadian customers. It continues to evolve its world-class retail experience, opening in new markets and communities throughout the country.
The new UNIQLO stores opening in Fall 2024 are:
- CF Sherway Gardens (Toronto, Ontario)
- Heartland Centre Town (Mississauga, Ontario)
- Bramalea City Centre (Brampton, Ontario)
- Willowbrook Shopping Centre (Langley, British Columbia)
UNIQLO looks to expand its hiring efforts in each new market by creating a welcoming and inclusive space for all. The brand encourages ambitious leaders to apply for the many opportunities via their career page. Additionally, UNIQLO will be hosting a series of career fairs where individuals can meet support reps and better understand the different roles that make up the organization.
