First Call Resolution, a premier provider of outsourced live agent contact center and businesses process solutions to the prepaid, wireless, telecom, internet, health care, medical, merchant services, financial, travel, high tech, transportation, insurance and consumer products industries, today officially announced the location of their newest Oregon call center: Coos Bay.

“After much due diligence throughout the state, we believe we have chosen wisely in deciding to open our third contact center in Coos Bay,” said Matthew Achak, EVP and Managing Partner. “We have acquired a site and are in the process of renovating it. As of right now, however, we do not have a definitive date when it will be operational, but we do plan on having it open for business in 2011.”

First Call Resolution estimates that once the complete center build-out has been completed, the Coos Bay location will eventually house approximately 250 agents at full capacity, providing a wide range of call center and business process outsourcing services.

“I applaud companies like First Call Resolution who are investing in communities like Coos Bay by bringing jobs to the area,” said Oregon Governor John Kitzhaber. “Each job is an opportunity to put Oregonians back to work.”

“The City of Coos Bay is excited about First Call Resolution’s decision to locate in Coos Bay and we are looking forward to the call center opening for business.” said Joyce Jansen, Economic Revitalization Administrator for the City of Coos Bay. “First Call will be a wonderful addition to the downtown business district.”

“The partnership between Business Oregon and First Call Resolution has been a successful one for years,” said state Business Development Officer Chris Claflin. “We are particularly happy with First Call’s new commitment to downtown Coos Bay and the creation of jobs for its residents.”

Added John Stadter, President and Managing Partner of First Call Resolution, “There are many benefits of First Call expanding into Coos Bay, beginning with proximity to both the Roseburg as well as Grants Pass sites. Quality of local labor, strong telecom infrastructure, as well as forward thinking business leaders were important factors in this decision as well.”

Headquartered in Roseburg, Oregon, First Call Resolution provides a wide range of boutique, domestic-based outsourced contact center, business process and social networking support solutions to most industries. Supporting over 50 clients with more than 500 employees, FCR maintains 3 contact centers in southern Oregon and a regional sales office in Seattle, WA.
