Design Mode Cabinetry has selected the town of Warsaw in Duplin County, N.C., for a $13 million manufacturing facility expected to create 139 jobs, with an average wage above the county's annual average. The cabinet manufacturer will renovate and occupy a 245,000-square-foot building that is currently vacant. It will house manufacturing and distribution operations.

In a statement, Governor Roy Cooper called the move “another great win for eastern North Carolina."

“Our vision is to create a first-class working environment for employees and to innovate solutions for problems that will help move our industry forward.” says Adrian Carroll, President of Design Mode Cabinetry. “We are honored for the opportunity to establish this business in Duplin County where it is clear that hard work and a sense of community are highly valued.”

The state did provide economic incentives to the firm. A $425,000 performance-based grant will come from the One North Carolina Fund and is contingent on conditions being met, reports WRAL TechWire.
