Triumph Tube Inc. to Open New Mfg. Facility; Create 40 New Jobs; Invest $3.5M

The South Carolina Department of Commerce, Orangeburg County Development Commission and the Central S.C. Alliance announced that Triumph Tube Inc., a new and dynamic manufacturer in the drawn tube industry, will open its new manufacturing facility in Orangeburg County. The $3.5 million investment is expected to generate 40 new jobs over the next five years.

Alliance worked diligently to secure our commitment to locate here, and made it a win-win situation. We quickly understood that Orangeburg was ideally located logistically for us, and the tremendous advantages made available to our organization rendered the final decision an easy one. We look forward to supporting our new community, and building an exciting future in Orangeburg,” said John Nesbitt, president of Triumph Tube Inc.

Triumph Tube Inc. is a cold drawn aluminum tube and fabricated aluminum products manufacturing company. Triumph Tube will manufacture and market its products throughout North America with a strong emphasis on customer service. The company plans to manufacture and distribute its products through the Orangeburg facility where it will manufacture drawn tubing and fabricated aluminum products.

Central S.C. Alliance Chairman Jim Apple stated, “We greatly appreciate this vote of confidence by Triumph Tube to locate in Orangeburg County. Our regional development alliance recognizes that business executives have lots of options when it comes to site selection and know they will find Orangeburg County to be the right fit in meeting their needs.”

Triumph Tube Inc. will focus its production on porthole drawn tubing using the following alloys: 1050, 1100, 3003, 6061 and 6063, which represent the majority of drawn tubing manufactured and sold in North America. The company’s market segments include military contractors, sporting goods, automotive and transport, medical and distribution.
