Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee, Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bob Rolfe and BR Metal Products officials announced that the company will expand its Livingston manufacturing facility.
The project represents an investment of $182,500 and will create 32 jobs in Overton County.
BR Metal Products will purchase new equipment and expand its Livingston manufacturing facility. The company is transitioning its temporary employees to a full-time basis while offering benefits and increased wages. The expansion and purchasing of new equipment will allow the company to hire additional employees.
BR Metal Products is an aluminum permanent mold foundry that specializes in high end commercial castings, electrical grid industry castings and furniture castings. Using in-house machinery, BR Metal Products creates castings, welding fabrications, metal product finishing and tooling.
Since 2015, TNECD has supported 40 economic development projects in the Upper Cumberland region, which have resulted in more than 4,600 job commitments and $451 million in capital investment.
