Another West Coast company has chosen to relocate its headquarters and expand in Tennessee. Recently, Governor Bill Lee and TNECD Commissioner Bob Rolfe traveled to Johnson City to participate in a ribbon cutting ceremony for LabConnect, a provider of clinical trial central lab services.

LabConnect will expand its Johnson City facility to support its growth in cell and gene therapy and immuno-oncology studies, while also doubling the capacity of its biorepository for sample storage and its clinical trial kit building capacity.

In March, LabConnect announced it would relocate its headquarters from Seattle, WA to Johnson City, TN, investing $8.7 million and creating more than 200 jobs.
