Valued at $10 million, the warehouse project will initially serve as a cotton storage facility and address pressing warehouse space shortages in the region. “With such high demand for industrial space in Edinburg and surrounding areas, Mr. Spamer’s investment couldn’t come at a better time,” said Raudel Garza, Executive Director of Edinburg Economic Development Corporation (EDC). This project highlights Edinburg’s appeal as an industrial center and, more importantly, brings new job opportunities to the area, further strengthening the local economy.

One of the main benefits of the North Industrial Park is its location, which provides businesses seamless access to key logistics routes, including nearby international crossings and the U.S. interstate system. As Veronica Gonzales, Edinburg EDC Board Director, pointed out, “The North Industrial Park is strategically positioned, making it an optimal location for growth and logistics, while offering Edinburg residents better employment opportunities.”

North Edinburg’s new Water Tower is designed to meet both current and anticipated needs in the region, strengthening water infrastructure with improved capacity and reliability. The 1-million-gallon tower, located at 3925 N. With a total project cost of over $5 million, the water tower is part of Edinburg’s broader vision to build robust infrastructure.
