Via 313, a restaurant brand that recreates the signature Detroit-style pizza outside of Motown, will open the award-winning pizzeria’s third area location in Riverton, Utah. In preparation for the grand opening this fall, the pizzeria will be hiring 100 staff members. The new location is Via 313's fourth in Utah and 12th systemwide.
“We may be from Michigan and started our brand in Texas, but Utah feels like a second home for us,” says co-founder Brandon Hunt. “Riverton will mark our fourth restaurant in the Beehive State, and it’s truly because of the love and support pizza lovers here have given Via 313 from the moment we arrived. Who knew so many people out west would love Detroit-style pizza as much as my brother Zane and I?!”
The new, locally owned, and operated 3,466-square-foot restaurant will be in the Mountain View Village shopping center and feature a larger footprint than many of its Texas locations with an expansive patio and a dedicated to-go area for guests to conveniently take home their favorite “square” pizza pies.
Via 313 pizzas are called “square,” yet they’re actually baked in rectangle metal trays. The Food Network named the company's pizza one of the “Top Five Pizzas in America.”
