The project will create jobs, boost the local economy, and offer a unique entertainment experience with sound stages, production facilities, a themed restaurant, and set tours.

Actor Kevin Costner is partnering with a local developer to build Territory Film Studios, a $40 million film studio in southern Utah. The project is set to commence next fall, with the studio located near the St. George Airport and encompassing sound stages, production warehouses, production offices, a Costner-themed restaurant, and tours of various sets.

The announcement was made at the Dixie Center, where St. George Mayor Michele Randall and Kevin Costner shared their vision for the project. "I'm thrilled to be a part of this venture," said Costner. "St. George has a unique charm and beauty that I believe will appeal to filmmakers from around the world."

The new studio is expected to provide a significant boost to the local economy, generating revenue and creating job opportunities. With a rising number of film school graduates in the area, the studio aims to offer a space for fresh talent to hone their skills and contribute to the growing film industry.

Territory Film Studios will feature two sound stages, a production warehouse, and office space to accommodate various film and television productions. In addition to these essential facilities, a Costner-themed restaurant will offer visitors and locals alike a dining experience inspired by the actor's iconic roles and personal tastes.

The studio will also provide tours of different sets, giving fans an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the magic of movie-making. This immersive experience is set to attract tourists and further contribute to the city's economic growth.
