About Bedford County Office of Economic Development

With a population of more than 80,000, picturesque Bedford County, Virginia is located between the Lynchburg and Roanoke metro areas, providing a combined workforce of more than 550,000 people from which to draw. The Bedford County Economic Development Authority owns more than 300 acres of land in three business and industrial parks: New London Business & Technology Center, Bedford Center for Business, and Montvale Center for Commerce. They stand ready to assist with state, regional, and local incentives. These include potential land deals or cash incentives from the EDA, Virginia Tobacco Commission, and the Virginia Economic Development Partnership to assist with workforce training and more.
