Brian McGowan

Brian McGowan is California’s deputy secretary for Economic Development and Commerce in the Business, Transportation and Housing Agency. He was appointed by Governor Schwarzenegger in January of 2008 to serve as the lead economic development official for the State of California. He previously held positions with city and county governments in California and has worked on economic development projects in Bulgaria and Serbia.
