During his 33 years in the U.S. Air Force, General Lawrence P. Farrell, Jr. held a wide variety of Management and Operations assignments ranging from combat operations to command of large program management and acquisitions. He has a broad range of private-sector experience including strategic planning programs, proposals, mergers and acquisitions. Prior to his retirement from the Air Force in 1998, he served as Deputy Chief of Staff for Plans and Programs at USAF Headquarters in Washington.
