Richard Baier

Richard J. Baier is director of the Nebraska Department of Economic Development, in which he has served since his August 2003 appointment. Baier previously worked as executive director of the Development Corporation of North Platte, and executive VP of Greater York (Nebraska) Area Chamber of Commerce/York County Development Corporation.

Mr. Baier holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Fort Hays State University, and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
