Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal gained re-election in 2011 by a historic margin. Winning more than 65 percent of the vote against nine opponents, Jindal won all 64 of Louisiana’s parishes and earned the highest percentage ever won by a candidate for governor since the open primary system was put in place in 1975. Governor Jindal is a conservative reformer whose success in Louisiana is turning his state around.
