Governor Jay Inslee

Jay Inslee was elected the 23^rd governor of Washington State in November 2012. He is a fifth-generation Washingtonian who grew up in Seattle and graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in economics before earning his law degree at Willamette University School of Law. Governor Inslee started his public service career as a state legislator in 1989 and later became a congressman, serving both the Yakima Valley and the Puget Sound area.
