Kevin McKinnon

Kevin McKinnon is the deputy commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED). McKinnon, who has nearly 20 years of economic development experience, oversees DEED’s Business Development, Business Finance and Community Finance departments, as well as the Minnesota Trade Office and the Office of Broadband Development. These departments are responsible for more than $350 million each biennium and over 25 state and federal programs. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks.
