Penelope (Penny) Brown is the advocacy & communications director at AMT – The Association For Manufacturing Technology. Raised in Ohio and now residing in the Washington, D.C., area, she began her career as a journalist in news and sports. Her current professional focus is on messaging that improves the perception of advanced manufacturing, including its economic value, technological advancements and rewarding careers. She’d like everyone to stop asking the question, “What do we make in the U.S. anymore, anyway?”
